The MUFON INTERNATIONAL PHOTO FORENSICS BOOT CAMP IN THE ROCKIES
BOOT CAMP WEEKEND
Colorado MUFON will host this inaugural event for Field Investigators (FIs) on May 16-18, in Cripple Creek Colorado, at the four-star Chamonix Resort and Casino. MUFON FI trainees and certified trainees in good standing will learn the advanced arts of photo forensics. If you are thinking about becoming a field investigator, there is still time to order your field investigator manual, study for and pass the field investigator test. Scroll down this page and click the “Event Registration” button to register.
An optional Ghost Tour and meet & greet cash bar/party will kick off the weekend. Your registration fee covers two training days, two breakfasts, a Texas BBQ dinner and a sky watch party. Trainers John Craig, Marc Diantonio, Seth Feinstein, Dennis Freyermuth, Sam Maranto & Donovan Wimer will instruct us in forensic trade secrets at this inaugural event! The curriculum will focus on cell phone image analysis, including artifacts and noise, triangulation, frequent misidentification and elimination of prosaic objects, apply the concepts of reflection/refraction, and recalibration. IrfanView, Video Enhancer, Photoshop and Forensically are examples of the applications the trainers will cover.
PREPARING FOR BOOT CAMP
Bring your laptop and any baffling images of UAPs. The training will include hands-on work with practical applications. Bring your camera & night vison equipment. A sky watch party will follow the Saturday night BBQ at Clay Britches Ranch, approximately 45 minutes from Cripple Creek. Marc D’Antonio will guide the sky watch, to help us discern astronomical objects from true anomalies.
