THE BOOT CAMP
This inaugural event will be held May 16-18, 2025, in Cripple Creek, Colorado at the four-star Chamonix Casino Hotel Resort. MUFON Photo Analysis Team (PAT) members will teach the advanced arts of photo forensics to MUFON field investigators in good standing. The training will include hands on work with practical applications.
GETTING HERE
The nearest airport is in Colorado Springs, approximately 60 minutes from Cripple Creek. Chamonix guests can take advantage of the free shuttle to and from the Colorado Springs airport. Discounted Hertz car rentals, taxi and ride shares are also available for guests to book.
MEET & GREET A meet & greet cash party, two breakfasts, two training days, a Texas BBQ dinner and a sky watch party are all included in the registration. We are in the process of planning the curriculum and contracting with very talented and renowned instructors.
PREPARING FOR BOOT CAMP
Do bring your laptop and any baffling images of UAPs. Bring your camera & night vison to the sky watch party. We are located in a dark sky, remote location with lots of sky activity.

The Chamonix is a four-star resort located in the historic mining town of Cripple Creek. This Luxury hotel resort is offering discounted rooms to our guests. The discounted pricing can be extended two nights prior to and two nights after the boot camp.

Before and after the boot camp, browse museums, gamble in the casinos, or see a show at the Butte Theater. One can explore the Colorado Springs area, ride the Cog Railroad to the top of Pikes Peak from Manitou Springs. Enjoy the Cave of the Winds, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls, the Garden of the Gods, the Airforce Academy or hike wonderful trails!
