In this rare and deeply personal presentation—“Intruders Revisited: A First-Person Journey Beyond the Copley Woods Encounter”—Debra will walk us through the original 1983 contact event that captured international attention, as well as the extensive investigation that followed, led by Budd Hopkins himself.
Her talk, which is also being featured at the 2025 MUFON International Symposium, offers a firsthand account of her evolving experiences and includes:

She co-authored Abducted: The Story of the Intruders Continues with her sister Kathy Mitchell, expanding the narrative into new emotional and spiritual territory.
Outside of her public story, Debra is known for her tireless behind-the-scenes work as a paranormal investigator, podcast host, and experiencer support group admin. She dedicates much of her life to helping other contactees process and integrate their experiences.
